Heartbeat Control by WP Rocket is a WordPress plugin designed to manage the frequency of the WordPress Heartbeat API.

This API provides realtime communication between the server and the browser when logged into the WordPress admin panel.

However, if the admin panel is left open for extended periods, the AJAX requests from the API can accumulate, leading to high CPU usage and potential server performance issues.

This plugin allows users to limit or completely stop the activity of the WordPress Heartbeat API, preventing these issues.

It also offers the ability to add rules for specific locations only, such as the Dashboard, Frontend, or Post Editor.
